Ergonomie receives Highly Commended accolade in International Ergonomics Design Award for its contribution to the Qantas Next Generation Check-In project

Ergonomie’s project to help make the check-in process for Qantas passengers and staff as easy and efficient as possible resulted in the consultancy being awarded Highly Commended in the recent Ergonomics Design Award competition, organised by the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. This is the first time the judges of the Award decided to single out a runner up to the main award winner. Ergonomie’s work was in collaboration with industrial design company Blue Sky who was commissioned to redesign six key stages of the Qantas Next Generation check-in process for frequent flyers at their domestic airports.
