A key innovation used by Ergonomie is Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is a powerful design, evaluation and training tool that immerses end users into a highly realistic environment to create real interactions under real time pressure.
Ergonomie has its own dedicated Virtual Reality lab at our Sydney office. Ergonomie is using Virtual Reality for a range of projects such as to design the crew cab and passenger areas of trains, design and evaluate railway stations, and for training applications for railway track workers and station staff.
Early integration of technologies such as VR can lead to time and cost savings for projects with demanding schedules, tight budgets, and reduced timescales available for design iterations. These environments have also been proven to be beneficial for training applications and stakeholder engagements, especially in safety-critical environments.
